Istanbul-based mobile game developer Bigger Games has raised $25 million in a Series A round to fuel the global rollout of its hit match-3 title Kitchen Masters and expand its casual gaming portfolio. The round was led by Goodwater Capital, joined by Arcadia Gaming Partners, Index Ventures, and Play Ventures. Former Activision president Coddy Johnson, now a partner at Goodwater, will also join Bigger’s board.
Founded in 2019, Bigger Games is part of the rapidly growing Turkish mobile gaming ecosystem, known for delivering highly engaging puzzle experiences. With Kitchen Masters showing strong early retention metrics, the new funding will be used to scale the game globally—especially in key markets like the U.S.—and double down on gameplay refinement and team growth.
“Our mission is simple: redefine what ‘fun’ means in mobile gaming,” said co-founder and CEO Hakan Ulvan. “We build emotionally resonant games where every swipe and tap delivers delight, mastery, and surprise.”
The studio is also ramping up its marketing and UA operations over the next 12–24 months to drive cross-market testing and player insights. “This investment gives us the freedom to scale smartly—testing what resonates across cultures while staying laser-focused on quality,” Ulvan added.
Arcadia’s Akın Babayiğit, also co-founder of Tripledot Studios, officially joins the investor roster after supporting the team since inception. “Bigger Games represents the best of Turkish mobile: bold vision, relentless execution, and next-level creativity,” said Babayiğit.
With fresh capital, a proven hit, and global ambitions, Bigger Games is positioning Kitchen Masters not just as a breakout title, but as a brand-defining game in the casual puzzle space.
