Ad overload killing your eCPM?

🤯Ad overload killing your eCPM? Screw Master 3D found a fix🤯

🤔One of the biggest challenges in ad monetized games is managing impression load. As users see more ads, ad networks pay less per impression due to recency effects. This creates a tricky tradeoff: Do you increase ad placements to drive more volume, or limit them to maintain high eCPMs?

In a recent live review with Supersonic from Unity’s Samantha Benjamin and Guy Agiv, we looked at how Screw Master 3D tackles this dilemma with dynamic strategies:

Smart ad swapping 🔁
The game dynamically switches between interstitials and rewarded videos based on which is predicted to generate higher revenue. Even if a user requests a rewarded video, it may serve an interstitial instead if the forecasted yield is stronger. Note, this only works for RV placements.

Rewarded video-first experience💰
With over 80 percent of users engaging with rewarded videos, the game reduces interstitials for these players, delivering a cleaner and more premium experience for high-engagement rewarded users.

Impression caps that protect CPM🧢
Rather than flooding users with ads, the game limits impressions after certain thresholds have been reached. This helps keep eCPM high while also nudging engaged users towards a first IAP purchase.

Screw Master 3D shows that thoughtful ad logic can scale impressions while minimzing eCPM degredation.
