Background

No emails. No Slack. No social media.

Last week, I did something unusual for me: I took two full days off.
No emails. No Slack. No social media.
Just a proper digital detox. 📱 ⛔

After several intense weeks — full of deadlines, travels, decisions, and quite a few emotional moments — I realized I needed a real break. Not just to rest my body, but to quiet my mind.

It wasn’t part of a vacation or a weekend plan. It was a conscious decision to hit pause. To rest, reset, and remind myself how it feels to be fully present, with my thoughts, my surroundings, and the people around me.

In our industry, being constantly online can feel like the norm. But I’ve learned that staying connected all the time doesn’t necessarily mean being more productive or more fulfilled.

Those two quiet days gave me space to breathe, reflect, and come back with a clearer head and lighter heart.

💡 Just a gentle reminder:
Taking time off is sometimes the most powerful way to tune back in

P.S. I turned my iPhone off completely, and somehow Apple still counted it as screen time. If anyone from Apple is reading this, please do something about it 😅
