What I like is how these countries were once overlooked because of low ARPU. But local studios worked with what they had – a massive number of players.

They built a hybrid monetization with rewarded ads and IAPs. Low ARPU times a large user base still adds up.

It’s not exactly new in the West either. Plenty of studios have used the same formula, and it’s working well.
