İstanbul-based game studio Bucked Games has secured a $500,000 investment led by Insha GSYF, managed by Albaraka Portfolio Management. The round also saw participation from Playgate Ventures, Kayacan Ventures, Nazan Demir, and Furkan Tanrıverdi.
Founded in 2021 within Bahçeşehir University’s BUGLab TEKMER and now operating under StartGate TEKMER, Bucked Games focuses on blending mobile gaming and interactive education. With over 20 mobile titles and more than 2.5 million users, the studio has reached 100,000+ students across 300 schools through its gamified learning experiences.
The company plans to use the new funding to expand into global markets and diversify its product portfolio, carrying its “learning through play” vision beyond Türkiye.
Founder Ahmet Can Yılmaz shared that Bucked Games aims to integrate AI-driven personalization into its games, offering each player dynamic storylines, adaptive difficulty, and interactive models tailored to their progress.
By combining fun with pedagogical accuracy, Bucked Games continues to develop sustainable learning models that strengthen children’s cognitive skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities through play.
